This year, the firm celebrated the fifth anniversary of the company foundation. An overwhelming part of the company's activities concentrates on health care - rehabilitation - not only in therapeutical but also in preventive care. Sarema works together with physicians from all fields concerned with locomoter system. Several company's programmes are covered by grants and financed by foundations. Sarema has concluded contracts with all health insurance companies. An integral part of rehabilitation is care of feet. Based on a plantogram examination the company orders also manufacture of orthopaedic supports for children, adults, diabetics and sportsmen. The critical situation in the Czech Republic's market as regards healthy footwear has made the company to pay to this matter a greater attention. A shop for predominantly children's footwear of the smallest sizes up to size 43 was built directly in the rehabilitation facility. The company's principle is to sell certified high quality Czech footwear only.

The footwear of the SNAHA Jihlava mark is very popular in the Czech Republic among the whole assortment of the articles produced by this Cooperative.The Cooperative specializes mainly in the manufacture of ladies´footwear which is partly sold on the home market and is partly exported. Footwear is manufactured of home and foreign materials, mainly from Italy. There is an interesting reality in the fact that the Co-operative presently owns 14 retail shops.
The Co-operative´s turnover amounts to 80 mil. Kc in a year. 230 employees work in the Co-operative.

A new product offered by the company are inserts formed in an imprint mould precisely according to an imprint of a customer's foot sole. The goods are distributed to most health care shops, health care facilities and pharmacies in the Czech Republic. A part of the production is exported to several countries in and outside Europe.
