APLF Awards - Congratulations to All Winners!

Winners of Best of APLF Awards, APLF Fashion Awards were announced at the cocktail party organised by APLF on 1 April. Winners and guests could make a new aspect of network with professions from different sector of the apparel and fashion industry under an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere created by APLF.

13 awards of Best of APLF and 3 Fashion Awards were distributed between Fashion Access and Materials, Manufacturing & Technology. It gives us great pleasure to publish the results and congratulate all the winners.

Fashion Access Winners of APLF Awards

1. Best Stand Design
Is given to Niki Jodi of Hong Kong for their mix of luxury, modernity and simplicity, providing their products wit the perfect display environment.

2. Best Marketing and Promotion Concept
Goes to Hung Chun Enterprise Co. of Hong Kong, for their innovative point of sale concept that uses various packaging to sell to different types of consumers.

3. Best Lifestyle Product
Is given to Long Island Enterprises Co. of Hong Kong also. They won the award for their utilitarian and functional tool kits done in fashionable leather.

4. Best Travelware
Is given to Shenzhen Xuan Ou Luggage & Bags Factory of China, for their old-style adjustable luggage and cosmetic cases that feature lighting an useful compartments.

5. Best Small Leathergoods Collection
Is awarded to Nomura Seisakusho Co Ltd from Japan. Their high quality, simple yet luxurious collection of wallets and coin purses impressed the judges most.

6. Best Footwear Collection
Is awarded to Biondini (New Frontier Shoese) from Brazil, for their stylish collection of casual footwear that are well-made and make use of high quality materials.

7.Best Bag Collection
Is awarded to Lianca & Co. Ltd of Hong Kong for their fashionable yet practical bags that feature the creative blend and use of materials, and fine details.

MM&T Winners of APLF Awards

1.Best Alternative Materials
Is given to Chun Wang Brothers of Thailand, for their creative and colourful proposals of exotic materials including skins of fish, toads, frogs, chicken feet, eels and snakes, among others.

2. Best Ecological Product
Is awarded to Hammann Lederfabrik of Germany, for their leading-edge "cradle to cradle" approach to leather tanning.

3. Best New Component
Is given to Rogers PORON Urethanes of Taiwan, for their versatile material that combines a high level of softness with high resistance to high speed impact pressure that lends itself to a wide range of applications such as shoe pads, protective sports gear, vets, and the like.

4. Best New Materials Technology
Goes to Incusa of Spain, for taking the long-time theoretically known titanium-tanning process and succeeding in creating a commercially viable, non-toxic, anti-allergenic leather.

5. Best Man-made Materials
Is presented to Omnipel Technologies of Italy, for their consistently innovative mix of fashion and technology in the development of new fashion-forward materials.

6. Best New Leather
Is given to Marmara Deri San Ve Tic of Turkey, for their beautiful 3-dimensional lamb nappa that is an interesting hybrid of leather and textile making it a perfect example of couture leather.

APLF Fashion Awards Winners

Best Product with the materials of Officina Delle Pelli Srl Italyrial goes to: Lenka Cejiková of Thomas Bata University.

Best Product with the materials of Lanificio Bigagli goes to: Pavlina Miklasova of Thomas Bata University.

Best Product with the materials of Altinok goes to: Bc A David Frkal, Thomas Bata University.

All the three winners of Fashion Awards will receive a cash prize of Euro 500.
