BISS 2010 Dates Announced

As the footwear industry begins to enter a bigger and better new decade, we look forward with hope as we begin to emerge from the difficulties of the past two years. Our collective future does indeed look bright and so we head into 2010, eyes open and cautious, learning from our past but moving ahead confident in the direction we are going. We are very happy to announce this year‘s Busan International Smart Shoe & Parts Fair will take place October 14-16, 2010.

BISS 2010 will build on the previous years and will continue to expand and grow based on the successes of the International Smart Shoe & Parts Competition (ISSC) and the Designer Hill design contest. The ISSC brought fantastic new product lines from more than 50 different companies that entered the competition, but Treksta came home with the grand prize with Taw & Toe, Stafild, and Hwaseung and looks as though this year will be even more spectacular. In addition, this year‘s design contest is looking at expanding even further abroad, as BISS 2010 brings in more talented designers not only from the U.S. but also from Europe. The calibre of the show promises to follow tradition and display not only the best of Korean products and the pinnacle of smart shoe technology, but showcase the latest technologies and designers emerging from Asia and around the world. We look forward to seeing all of you in Busan, October 14-16, 2010.
