The 19th International Technical Footwear Congress of the International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC) is organized by the Council for Leather Exports (CLE) during Feb’ 3 – 5, 2016 in Hotel ITC Grand Chola in Guindy, Chennai, India.
The Theme is the "Future Footwear Factory".
The Major discussion topics at the Congress will be :
“Manufacturing based on Needs of Consumers”, “Intelligent Manufacturing / Digital-Smart Factory”, “Sustainability & Regulatory Trends impacting Factories”, “Advanced Retail & Supply Chain” and “Attractive Footwear Factories and New Way of Management”.
The Congress will be punctuated by several key events:
a Press Conference organized by UITIC & CLE on February 2nd
the visits of two well-known factories, Farida and KH Group, will be proposed to the overseas delegates on February 3rd,
the opening session of the Congress on February 4th with the Official Gala Dinner at the end of the day
and the Closure Ceremony by the Chairman of UITIC and Chairman of CLE on February 5th , at 1. Pm.
