Assocalzaturifici strengthens its partnership with EMI and SMI on the Chinese Market to promote international growth

 

As one of its strategies for the Chinese market, Assocalzaturifici confirms the presence of Italian footwear companies at the upcoming edition of CHIC, scheduled for October 13 through 15 2015 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

“The Chinese market is a priority for Assocalzaturifici, and we want to continue promoting Italian-made goods in China, working with Ente Moda Italia and Sistema Moda Italia to reinforce partnerships in the Italian fashion system, working together for the first time on a market which is both promising and complex," comments Assocalzaturifici Chairman Cleto Sagripanti. "Thanks to this important teamwork and to the support of the institutions and the Italian Trade Agency, theMICAMshanghai has become a driving force for the presence of Italian footwear enterprises in China. After four editions, in March we began to appear together at China’s most important fashion event, while maintaining our own brand. Starting with the next fair, the form of our partnership with CHIC will change: we will pursue a new strategy, promoting the presence of Italian footwear enterprises together as a block at CHIC”.

The Association will therefore assist enterprises by continuing its work with theMICAMshanghai through a different formula. Assocalzaturifici, SMI and EMI are working with ITA and the Ministry of Economic Development on defining the details of the new strategy, which will be on the agenda for the Association’s new president, to be appointed in June.
