Future of Fashion celebrated the graduating fashion students from the three schools: The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - School of Design, VIA Design and Design School Kolding for the third year, with a grand show at Børsen in Copenhagen back in June.
This season a selection of the school’s finest graduated students will exhibit their collections at CIFF in Bella Center alongside the well-established brands from the industry.
Future of Fashion is an activity in Innonet Lifestyle - Interior & Clothing in collaboration with WEAR/ Danish Chamber of Commerce, and supported by Kopenhagen Fur and DM&T.
The presence of Future of Fashion and the newly graduated designers makes CIFF’s support of young talents even more evident. The exhibition will give the visitors at the fair a chance to meet the young designers and get an understanding of what the new tendencies are at the design schools. For the designers this will be a scoop and great opportunity to meet top people from the industry, present their collections and establish new contacts, something that they are looking very much forward to.
The latest Future of Fashion 2015 show movie will also be on display to give the visitors an idea of the clothing in movement.
“Future of Fashion is a collective, where Danish and international businesses meet the design schools new talents. We know from previous years that international business like to see what Denmark is capable of. The collaboration across companies and institutions help the graduates to get started on both the Danish and the international market, and this kick-start is a great benefit for all parties. And indeed for Denmark and our reputation as a design nation; that we stand together and show what our talents can do.” Betina Simonsen, Director of Innonet Lifestyle - Interior & Clothing / Future of Fashion.
