Stepped-up marketing efforts and new stand space allocation for the CPM Kids segment rounded off the overall picture at CPM – Collection Première Moscow. The trade show drew to a close last Friday and registered a total of 19,950 visitors, which means a 20% increase over the previous event.
Attracting great attention was the kids’ parade that marched into Hall 2.2 right after the CPM Kids Show every day, guiding trade visitors right to the ranges. “This is just one of the many measures we have undertaken in order to strengthen this area. We will continue to focus on this segment as the largest group of participants with high-quality labels comes from Italy. Targeted visitor marketing and matching neighbourhoods at the heart of the event offer specialist retailers a condensed overview,” says Christian Kasch, Project Director of CPM. The interest taken by Russian specialist retailers in children’s fashion continues unabated. This is also evidenced by the well-attended seminar and the workshop on the second afternoon of the trade fair, which entirely centred on children’s fashion.
Another highlight were the Italian Kids Catwalk shows presenting the likes of BALDININI ∙ BIMBALÒ ∙ FERRARI ∙ GF FERRÉ ∙ LAURA BIAGIOTTI DOLLS and SILVIAN HEACH KIDS. Nicola Fusillo, Sales Director at Italian label mafrat confirms: “Our customers are very impressed with the show offered. It provides information and the opportunity to make contacts afterwards. We are satisfied with the business we can currently do. Having exposure here is key for us. We believe in the Russian market.”

The next CPM – Collections Première Moscow with the CPM Kids segment will be held at Moscow’s Expocentre from 31 August to 3 September 2016. National and international manufacturers will present their collections for the 2017 Spring/Summer season.
