Read about the plans for CIFF, CIFF RAVEN and CIFF KIDS for the upcoming trade show Spring/Summer 2016.

CIFF and CIFF RAVEN:

The leading and most innovative fashion platform in northern Europe, Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF), is constantly working hard on optimizing all of its platforms and reaching the goals of its visions.

Therefore there are big plans for the upcoming fair in August, which sees expansions of the total square meters at Bella Center and specifically, the carefully curated areas, LAB, SLEEK and URBAN.

Last but not least, CIFF RAVEN is after a successful first season in January moving into Bella Center. CIFF RAVEN will still be representing its very own unique universe/platform - a sharply curated menswear and lifestyle community that brings together fashion, design, art and culture.

“We look forward to an exciting season this August at CIFF, with further improvements of our fair’s build-up in the iconic high quality and beautiful design, that our exhibitors and visitors have come to expect at CIFF. Also we are happy to have CIFF RAVEN in the same destination, as the creative vibe from the CIFF RAVEN community positively adds to the total experience at the fair,” says Mads Emil Møller, Communications Manager.

The LAB, SLEEK and URBAN areas all build on their success in January by expanding and evolving with new segments and build-ups.

LAB is a unisex high profile area, and SLEEK is a specifically curated womenswear only area.
Both areas feature fashion forward, design driven, innovative, local, international, established and upcoming designers and brands.
LAB and SLEEK both extend their square meters based on demand, welcoming new exhibitors and brands this season.
SLEEK will feature some very interesting high profile special projects, to be announced.

URBAN features urban edge designers and brands within streetwear and denim.
This season URBAN is set in a brand new build-up concept, which creates a vibrant environment and much higher brand visibility.
Build around special projects; buyers and visitors will have a clear overview of the segmentation, concept and brands.

The new expansions ultimately result in more room for brands, collaborations and creative and innovative projects. Thereby solidifying CIFF as the one-stop, leading destination for art, fashion, design and lifestyle in Copenhagen.

“Press and buyers will have the convenience of visiting one combined fair, with easy access, close to the city and the airport. Ultimately making it easier to focus on the business at hand, before leisure in the beautiful city of Copenhagen.” – Mads Emil Møller.

Exciting longer-term plans include crossover collaborations with northmodern, the design, furniture and lifestyle trade show, Art Copenhagen and the addition of a new Performance platform, all under the CIFF umbrella.

CIFF KIDS:

CIFF KIDS is thrilled to continue the positive development of the trade show in Forum Copenhagen and this season it runs simultaneously with CIFF and CIFF RAVEN – 5-7 August.

“There is a number of buyers who visit both fairs and we are happy to be able to accommodate them with the same dates. Also we look forward to new and exciting expansion of the CIFF KIDS universe with a second floor and special projects yet to be unveiled.” – Mads Emil Møller.

CIFF KIDS will for the Spring/Summer campaign team up with the renowned kid’s wear magazine. The partnership is yet another one to highlight the progressive profile of the trade show. Styled by fashion expert Catrin Hansmerten, the campaign will be photographed by Achim Lippoth, eminent photographer, publisher and editor-in-chief of the kid’s wear magazine.

The much anticipated project is foreseen to have a very distinctive touch and an ethnic mix that will contribute to some remarkable results. kid’s wear magazine brings together the world’s best photographers, new and established writers that interpret today’s children’s fashion, lifestyle and culture on over 250 pages. The paper has an international outlook, international readership and regularly receives major awards. Thus, kid’s wear is, indubitably, a de rigueur partner in CIFF KIDS’ goal to stay the Northern Europe’s leading destination for children’s fashion.
