In 2016, the Brazilian Summer Fair begins on a Sunday, a day on which storekeepers can devote more time to the event and the city is more inviting, with less traffic and more leisure options for those who come from other places.
The innovations are expected to fill the fair aisles with ideas and inspiration that will help manufacturers of all sizes and from different regions of Brazil to transform their business. Here are a few of them:
Launches: the most important shoe and accessories fashion event maintains its role as a showcase for novelties from almost two thousand Brazilian brands and goes beyond that. For the exhibitor companies, FRANCAL 2016 will enable greater brand exposure, networking and contact with storekeepers; for visitors, it will enable a wide offer of information and trends, knowledge and training, and contact with brands. From the convergence of demands from these two audiences, business opportunities and partnerships are born.
Content: the dissemination of knowledge and ideas will be done by means of over a hundred innovation-oriented lightning lectures (each around 20 minutes long) spread around the hall. Specialists, consultants and digital influencers will talk to exhibitors and visitors about the analysis of trends, exploiting business opportunities, new models for concept stores, among other provocative and inspiring themes. Before the fair, Francal Meets Brazil project brings fashion information and trends to storekeepers and commercial representatives from several Brazilian cities in the company of renowned designers.
Connectivity: even before it takes place, FRANCAL 2016 will take over several digital platforms through webinars - small seminars conducted by the internet and directed to storekeepers - on fashion, consumer behavior and retail news, with objective to prepare the storekeepers for the fair. Actions will be undertaken with national and international influencers to enlarge the visibility of the fair in new markets and the broadcasting of the novelties in all available channels (Snapchat, Instagram, Periscope, Twitter and Facebook).
Entertainment: FRANCAL 2016 will give a new meaning to the experience of participating in a fair through the conjunction of business, content and entertainment. A good part of the learning schedule will take place in the Events Square. Visual references and information on trends at Francal Summer Exhibit not only attract due to a playful and creative design, but also serve as a guide for helping storekeepers carry out the best deals.
The new Design Lounges provide visitors moments of rest, relaxation, interaction with information on fashion and ambiance signed by decorators. Meanwhile, Wellness Lounge, a very successful experience in the 2015 edition, offers beauty and massage services.
Commercial representatives continue to experience the convenience of the Commercial Representative Room, an exclusive area having computers, a structure for meetings and the Opportunity Network digital platform, which brings together representatives and represented companies.
More storekeepers: FRANCAL 2016 extends actions to bring more storekeepers to the fair. Buyer Project finances the visit of buyers coming from every part of Brazil, especially from the North and Northeast regions; Buyer Trade Missions will be maintained and expanded, with the inclusion of more cities and more small and medium-sized storekeepers with the support of local trade associations.
Exports: for years the exports scene has not been as propitious as it is right now, with the favorable exchange rate and recovery of the main world markets. FRANCAL 2016 gives continuity to Rede Exporta Francal, created to promote the generation of international business and promote Brazilian brands overseas. The project finances the hosting of importers indicated by exhibitors and disseminates exhibiting exporter brands in the FRANCAL 2016 international website. They also receive special signaling on the fair map and an adhesive stamp on the booth indicating their position as exporter companies.
