The International Fashion Show will occupy 15,000 square metres of floor space, where more than 900 national and international Fashion and Accessories brands will present their collections

One of this edition’s novelties is the MOMAD 4.0 space, Innovative Solutions for Retail.

The fair will offer a fresh new atmosphere, with a new stand and lighting format, which will enhance the participating firms’ collections

Madrid, 22 January 2018.- MOMAD Metrópolis, the International Fashion Show, is putting the finishing touches on preparations for its fifth edition, which will run from 2 to 4 February in halls 2, 12 and 14 at Feria de Madrid. 

Just two weeks away from its celebration, this must-attend event for fashion and clothing professionals, organised by IFEMA, includes more than 900 participating firms from 12 countries - primarily from Portugal, France, Italy and the United Kingdom-, exhibiting on 15,000 square metres of net floor space. At the national level, Catalonia, Madrid and Andalusia are the regions with the greatest presence at the fair.

In this edition, prestigious brands such as Devernois, Devota&Lomba, Fransa, Hannibal Laguna, Javier Larrainzar, Viriato, Manakas, Marella/Emme, Mr Musk, Parakian Paris, Paul Brial, Surkana, Van Dos and MD’M are included, among others, in addition to the brands that, at each edition, back the concept and robustness of this event, which is fully adapted to market demands where all fashion segments have a place.

Sustainable fashion gains space.

Sustainable Fashion increases floor space and participation in this edition, consolidating and gaining importance within the overall fair offering.

As a novelty, the MOMAD 4.0 sector is being incorporated. This sector is focused on promoting the digitalisation of the fashion industry in collaboration with Adigital (Association of Digital Economy). It will develop an informative activity that will be complemented with workshops and presentations.

Extensive programme of parallel activities

As usual, the show will have an extensive programme of parallel activities, such as the presentations and workshops of the MOMAD Forum, which is expanding its agenda and moving to a bigger location; the MOMAD Catwalk, where more than 50 participating brands will be showing off their 'wears', as will various exhibitions and the Winter Terrace, which will feature a dining space dedicated to Comidas del Mundo (food from around the world) and daily DJ sessions.

New stand

Moreover, this edition premières a new modular stand format, which will improve the atmosphere and give a new look to the halls. The new stand model is more conceptual and attractive, adapted to the needs of the sector, which incorporates improvements such as LED lighting, allowing a balanced distribution of light on the products on display.

Momad Metrópolis will have a continuous schedule from 10am to 7pm through its first two days, and from 10am to 5pm, on Sunday, 4 February.
