Northern Tannery (NT) was established in the year 1958, lead by our pioneers Late Haji Mohammad Sayeed Lari (1901-1977) and Late Haji Mohammad Rashid Lari
(1937-1991) with the primary objective of producing Vegetable Tanned sole leather.
The company is governed by its partners, who are qualified leather and footwear technicians from the UK and by other skilled personnel's for advanced production, thus assisting better to adapt to international standards and requirements and creating customer satisfaction.
Today, with over 5 decades of experience we have created a niche for ourselves in both domestic and international markets with impressive products and services. From the time of manufacturing high quality saddler products, leather belts, rubber matts for doors and cars & from shoe upper leathers to shoe uppers, the company now ALSO manufactures:
Leather for safety shoes, upholstery, lining, belts - Military & Safety footwear - Accessories like belts, Dog/Cat collar - Micro rubber sheets
Our company is framed with several sections of production units, which are involved in the operation of manufacturing and sales. Not only do we strive to enhance the production for domestic uses but also manufacture variety of valuable leather products catering to a wide range of international market with 100% export quality, hence being a government recognized EXPORT HOUSE.
NT employs 50 staff members/supervisors and over 500 proficient workers to achieve and maintain the following production capacity:
Finished leathers - For shoes, furniture & belts - over 800,000 sqft/ month. - Shoe uppers - 60.000 pairs/month - Micro cellular rubber sheets - 10.000 sheets/month.
