CAVECAL, es una asociación civil sin fines de lucro, políticos o religiosos, nace el 09 de Septiembre del 2002, como producto de la fusión de las Cámaras existentes para la fecha denominadas CAVENIC- Cámara Venezolana de Industriales del calzado fundada el 26 de Agosto de 1959, ANPMICALS-Asociación Nacional de la Pequeña y Mediana Industria del Calzado y Similares fundada el 26 de Febrero de 1973 y CAFACA-Cámara Venezolana de Fabricantes de Componentes y Productos afines para el calzado, logrando materializar el proyecto de unificación, a fin de otorgarle mayor representación y fuerza al sector.

Grande delusione per il Consiglio UE Competitività tenutosi lo scorso 28 maggio a Bruxelles per affrontare il nodo dell’applicazione dell’etichettatura di origine obbligatoria per le merci non alimentari in circolazione nell’Unione Europea: il Consiglio non è riuscito a superare lo stallo dei due fronti opposti, che non hanno trovato un accordo nemmeno sulla debole proposta debole e di compresso della Presidenza Lettone, che prevedeva l’obbligo del Made in solo per i settori calzature e ceramica.

The European Union Competitiveness Council held in Brussels on May 28 to address the issue of application of mandatory marking of origin for non-food goods sold in the European Union: the Council did not manage to overcome the stalemate between two opposing views, which could not even agree on the weak compromise proposed by the Latvian Council President requiring "made-in" labelling for footwear and ceramics only.
